Hilary Hauck grew up in the UK, and lived in Italy for over a decade before moving to the US. She writes fiction, poetry, and articles, often inspired by the vulnerability and strength of the human condition, the stories we create and are thrust into in real life, and by her travels and the countries where she has lived.
Hilary is also very active in the writing community, finding inspiration and engagement through her writing families, The Inkwell, Mindful Writers, and Pennwriters.
Fluent in Italian, she is a Chartered Institute of Linguists qualified translator. She works on a freelance basis, with a special interest in articles for the specialist press. She recently graduated from Penn State’s Rural-Urban Leadership Program, RULE XVI.
